You’re invited to Hope and Home’s Teddy Bear Clinic! This event is designed to help children create positive associations with doctors, nurses, and medical professionals. Each child is invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the Teddy Bear Clinic for their “annual checkup.” Real doctors and nurses from the community volunteer their time to perform a variety of procedures including eye exams, hearing the bear’s heartbeat, x-rays, stitches, surgery and more. Teens (ages 12+) can join in as teen “residents” and shadow our doctors and nurses during the Teddy Bear Clinic. This is a great opportunity for anyone who’s interested in becoming a doctor or nurse when they grow up! We look forward to seeing you at this "bear-y" special event!
