One of the ways we support Metro Caring's work each year is by bagging beans and rice for distribution to food-insecure families. On Sunday, March 1, after worship we hope to bag 1000 pounds of beans and rice. We purchase them at cost from Metro Caring’s supplier in large bags, then donate our time to divide them into 4-cup bags for distribution. We ask everyone to plan to stay after worship on March 1, as there is a job for every ability, and many hands make light work!
