Lower Level
Another exciting opportunity to learn and serve in El Salvador is scheduled for July 2024 when, once again, the small village of Las Trincheras will welcome a group from Colorado. We’ll partner with the community there to build homes, learn about the country and its people, and make lasting friendships. Those of us from past service-learning trips would love to have more people share this experience! To help us spread the word and build enthusiasm, our in-country coordinators, Alvaro Carias and Guillermo Sensente, will travel to Colorado for two weeks this spring. They look forward to meeting everyone at the Kirk and are eager to share information about the July trip. After worship on May 5, we will host a Salvadoran pupusa lunch in the downstairs fellowship hall, followed by a brief presentation from Alvaro and Guillermo. Everyone is welcome, so please join us for the meal even if you can’t participate in the July trip.
