Christmas at the Kirk

Do you love the Christmas season but....

You’re just not sure about some of those who call themselves Christians, and maybe your experience of church has felt more about judgment than joy.

We get that.

You want to find a church that understands that families come in all shapes and sizes, that boldly affirms all sexual orientations and gender identities. A church that welcomes questions, creates space for mystery, doubt, and hope.

We get that, too.

You believe that God is love. Period. And love is a word of action. You dream of a church who enacts their faith, addressing today's issues of climate change, poverty and isolation.

We get that.

And you know what? That’s what we are seeking, too.

During the season leading up to Christmas, and throughout the year, we pursue the depth of relationship with God and community, that compels us to Be The Church, not just on Sundays but everyday.

Intrigued? Didn’t think there was a church like that?

Come join us during the weeks leading up to Christmas at one of our many activities like the Children's Telling of the Meaning of Christmas. Or come for our Christmas Eve service at 5:30 p.m. This service includes communion (where ALL are welcome to participate) and closes with the singing of “Silent Night” and the lighting of candles.

If you like what you discover, we also invite you to check us out on Sunday mornings for worship at 10 AM. (There’s also education opportunities for all ages at 9:00, plus coffee, snacks, and good conversations over coffee at 11 AM)
