Susan's Script

The days leading to Easter are a time of special preparation. It's fun to dye eggs and put up decorations! In KidZone, we practice other traditions as well. On Saturday, April 3, we will use "resurrection eggs" as we read the story of holy Week. We will create Easter cards, watch a special movie, and hopefully, make great memories!

Here are some other traditions you might want to consider for your home:
1. Read the Easter story to your children. There are some wonderful books out there every bit as good as "The Night Before Christmas".

2. Make Easter egg cookies and decorate them with Easter symbols. (Mark's mother still sends a care package of these eggs each year! Yum!

3. Visit someone who is lonely . . . take them some Easter eggs or an Easter lily.

In other words, practice what is important. Enjoy the Easter bunny, but celebrate the resurrection
