OUR MISSION IS to share and experience God's love in thought, word and deed with more and more people.

OUR GOAL IS to grow as a church in spiritual depth and in service to our neighbors.

United Church of Christ Statement of Faith:   

We believe in God, the Eternal Spirit, God of our Savior Jesus Christ and our God and to God's deeds we testify:

• God calls the worlds into being, creates peoples in the divine image and sets before us the ways of life and death.

• God seeks in holy love to save all people from aimlessness and sin.

• God judges people and nations and nations by the righteous will declared through prophets and apostles, in Jesus Christ, the man of Nazareth our crucified and risen savior, God has come to us and shared our common lot, conquering sin and death and reconciling the world to Godself.

• God bestows upon us God's Holy Spirit, creating and renewing the Church of Jesus Christ binding in covenant faithful people of all ages, tongues and races.

• God calls us into Christ's Church to accept the cost and joy of discipleship, to be God's servants in the service of others, to proclaim the Gospel to all the world and resist the powers of evil, to share in Christ's baptism and eat at His table and to join Him in His passion and victory.

• God promises to all who trust God forgiveness of sins and fullness of grace, courage in the struggle for justice and peace, God's presence in trial and rejoicing and eternal life in God's realm which has no end.

Kirk Vision Statement

WE BELIEVE God has called the Kirk of Bonnie Brae to be a welcoming and guiding community for people who seek to understand and follow the God of love.

WE COVENANT (PROMISE):

• to worship the God of all creation;

• to share God's love with all people;

• to create and nurture a community of Christian faith;

• to tell the Good News of God's love made known in Jesus Christ;

• to learn and teach God's healing ways.

WE CELEBRATE our diversity, realizing that God uses our varied gifts to make God's love more real in the lives of all people.

WE TRUST God to provide whatever we need to grow in faith, knowledge and understanding and to inspire us through the Holy Spirit who leads us on ever new journeys of faith.
